It was Hectic day on the water yesterday. As i was leaving I saw someone getting attention on the grass from some of the crew. He seemed unconscious. Does anyone know anything about that?

Hope he's OK.

He's fine - copped a board to the back of the head while de-rigging. Apparently the board was on his kite, flicked up and hit him! Unluckiest guy ever!

Earlier that day he wrapped a line around his ankle in the water which left a nasty mark, then about 40min later flew horizontal across the water at about 70kph and just missed another kiter. Then when his kite hit the water it split in half!

Far out, bad day at the office! Sometimes you should just pack it up and go home when you're having a crap day.

Glad to know he's OK.

Yes it was a challenging day. Happily most sailors seem to keep their wits about them. Probably because you have to be pretty experienced to take on Queens on a day like that.
