the charts for qld aren't right half the time, I was up there all of last week and got 5 days of kiting and on some days it was predicted we'd have none! Sunday was awesome despite the rain, well worth it :-)
you are right about the accuracy but we did get a great day on Sunday, today is looking awsome 5m weather this avo. Glad to hear you had some good kiting on your trip.
What a great day towed in the morning then kited for 2 1/2 hours by myself in great waves at the alley then towed till dark again, couldn,t ask for anything more..
what size kite were you on?? how windy was it when u where out riding??? no bowen for me so it looks like i'm pumpin pangi's kite at Nationals, coz thats the next comp i'm going to !! dam that crazy bet! lol
The rain is hitting us sideways here (Coolum) and the forecast should be for Sat at 25-30kots with at least a 4mtr swell still around. My naish fish and 9mtr is ready for a downwinder. nothing like heading out into 6foot and jumping over it on your way out to turn and ride that big mother back in!! Only a Kiter know that feeling!!
