I need to buy some threaded inserts/plugs for surfboard not twin tip (or do they use the same). Preferably the 3 in a row kind. If you have a contact number or link to a site please either PM or reply. WA shop preferably, but happy to buy online and get them posted.

Cheers Sam

your probably better of with the sliding box set up.. most shapers should be able to sorce them for you. the little nut just slides up and down the box. you can screw it where you like ..

I've made a few boards. I found the best is to get hold of 12mm polycarbonate sheet offcuts, and cut it into rectangles about 50X15, and then rough them up with sandpaper and clean with acetone before glassing them in. It's very, very strong and I've never had a screw pull out.

I've never tried to get it here, but speciality engineering plastics shops will carry it, with a bit of luck they'll give you offcuts for free.

Good luck
