Not exactly a kiting topic but excellent news on the extreme sports front! One of the most exhilerating & highly skilled extreme sports known to mankind will be hosted here in Perth in November, 2006.

"The Red Bull Air Races".
Maybe another excuse for you guys to do a kiting display in front of Riverside Drive again?
I am sooooo excited!!! Melbourne can keep the Grand Prix

That's cool. I've seen this stuff a couple of times on Fox Sports. Not for the faint hearted. The round I saw was in Rotterdam and the starting gate was under a bridge not much higher than the Narrows

Yeah cool! They wanted to go under the narrows bridge here but CASA said no

1.2 million spectators turned out to watch them in Budapest last year.
