OK so I think the red thumbs idea is quite dumb.
There seems to be and endless effort to give red thumbs down on the coast here.
Almost every post Paul Jackson makes to do with something good for kiting such as a demo day he gets red thumbs.
I would like to have the Thumbs thing removed and in its place a +Rep button so that good posts and posters can receive positive rep for their contributions instead of instigating a Red thumb war between riders and shops.

I think its more positive for the forum to acknowledge its main contributors and positive, helpfull responses then to just have people giving a red thumb because they dont like someone or something they said.

RPM in a recent post you asked a legit question about BWS kites and got red thumbed, so you know the red thumbs are just useless....

Care to elaborate on the door nob? Or shall I just post that back to you next time you have a legit question?

This forum used to be all help - but its more hate than anything else these days.

who cares about red thumbs.

I have deleted my picture for you as I don't want to hurt your feelings on this public forum.

Please accept my apologies.

"who cares about thumbs" That was the whole point of the post they are useless

I simply wanted to state that having a + Rep button (and a rep counter under their avatar) would be more beneficial to the forum so helpfull posts can be rewarded - and generally help will be given more by members instead of just red thumbs everywhere.

But yeah whatever ...

I dont care about myself getting red thumbs its pretty obvious the haters will give them without even reading. (most of them are to afraid to put their real name on here anyway)

I don't particularly like when people are genuinely helping someone or kiting in general and get red thumbs by members for no reason - same goes for members asking genuine questions.

I was just trying to offer a suggestion that was a lot more positive for members who genuinely help people.
