Aim to start at 2:00pm. It will be the wind that decides. We are hoping for a good North East that will get stronger in the afternoon. We would like participants to be on the beach in the morning though so that we can let everyone know the plan and also to try an co-ordinate the event. We will need to have a few different launch zones along the beach to avoid carnage !

Will there be different divisions like male or female etc
Has transport back from end of race been organised or is this up to the individuals?

The Race will be run with everyone, male and female, on the water at the same time. There will be prizes for Male and Female. If a Female wins the Race then she will take the overall prize. The details of the prizes will be announced on the morning of the Race, depending on number of entrants. Also the format will largely depend on number of entrants.
We have arranged transport to return entrants from Finish line to Start line. Thank you to Con-X-ion transport for supplying buses.
Thank you also to Nissan who have supplied a convoy of awesome new X-Trails to accompany the Race and pick up anyone who doesn't make the distance !!
