Where's the most reliable spot for decent wind over the Christmas period on the East coast or within a short (cheap) flight from the East Coast - like Fiji?

Now I know all you Westies will say Perth, but let's face it for the past 3 years Christmas has failed to deliver any sort of seabreeze, last year it died mid December and didn't come back until the end of jan! And I want to try somewhere new!

Yeh, I was just hoping for a change from WA, I'll be there in October as well - time to try out some new spots.
