has anyone got or flown a 2006 rhino. i can get a 9 + 12 fairly cheap. are the sick in the surf.
any thoughts people.

really nice kite, but not a robust one, with all its cam batens and funky crap. Not a kite I would want to take out in the surf at any time.

Bit confused over that post too. The 06 Rhino is the biggest boosting kite I've ever
owned, bloody awesome, and I must of had about 10 kites. But with the Cam battens which there are about 6 fiberglass struts in it, man they break so easily. There is no way that kite will hold up in the surf, if you ditch it, say goodnight. I
reckon and old slingly is problably a better bet, theres heaps of better wave kites
out there maybe look at bows and hybids if the waves are your thing

excellant kites..cam battens are a bit of a worry..so what you do is change to plastic battems..shops will sell them...depends how used they are though...sounds like a good deal though...

If you dont like cam battens and want cheap get 05 Rhino's
These kites were beasts, I reckon they took backward step in 06.
