I have had a go for an hour or so in light winds 12-16knots and the kite feels great, smooth continous power. I have also demo'd a few other brands that are supposed to feel the same, but they didn't do it for me.

Haven't had a proper enough go to review it so was wondering what others thought? Especially in high winds.

i'll try and get a solid 4 or 5hr session in 25kn in the surf before posting a review.

Hilly do you have the 10 rise at the momentLove to hear your feedback when ready, I reckon they are great kites personally, with heaps of options and there are some new bridle mods that make it different again.

I haven't flown the ERA yet but they are similar in construction to the rise very solid, very nice looking kite and from what I've witnessed it is stable and flies nicely through the turns. But like I say I personally haven't flown it, but would like to and will soon hopefully.

Hint hint WOK, I promise not to go near buckets mate(personal joke people, some will understand)

Full review in the review section after a few sessions in good conditions. Looks the goods, has all the fruit - one pump, good bar, solid construction, 20m lines and 3m extensions, etc.
08 looks better simple bridle and holes?? Time will tell.

had a go on a 10m royal era last monday, really good kite, EXTREMELY stable and quick, but not too quick either, most C-kite feel to any SLE style kite i have ever flown and really whoops ur ass in loops, VERY smooth power delivery through turns and never tends to lose power thru turns when underpowered like some bridled kites do.Unhooked this kite is awesome, i unhooked on the 10m in a solid 20-22 knots and didnt seem to get pulled off my edge like other kites do, kite sits at a nice high angle and feels effortless to throw unhooked moves whilst powered, i had this kite in a solid 25 knots at the start and loved it, boosts are HUGE and explosive like a C kite but still hangs u there at the apex like a flat kite does, at the end i gave someone else a turn on it and they were still riding upwind no problem in about 12-13 knots of wind!

only bad thing about this kite is the cleat used for the unhooking leash depowering system, the small metal cleat wears the line quite fast, but this setup isnt the final design and i think might be changed once kites r released

that is sounding better and better. I might have the demo for this weekend so can get some photos and proper sessions.

Might have to drag kiteboy into the demo somewhere, fark i know i will regret this.

Nice try, i am not telling you where my spot is!! Light easterlies in a low tide can be done( the photo of my nova2 thats for sale ""pimp"" is the spot that i will be at sunday morning) Or a four wheel drive down a beach for a surf will be done instead.

Cheers for the height/weight thing, and yes its sad.
