Course racing is an "interesting" event to host.

We ran one last year and learned from the experience.

Limit the contestants in each heat to about three of four as tangles evenuate at the first turn due to a rush of blood to the head and poor kite positioning.

A relay event from the beach, around a marker buoy and back to tag the next rider is a fun event. Make it mandatory to include at least one female rider to include the girls.

An "upwinder" will keep the contestants in view of the beach and test skills as well.

My suggestion is a DI to noosa marathon downwinder with a couple of 4x4 folowing the action with food an drinks an filming as well then bbq after an watch the footage.

Hi all, yes we have all the buoys and obstacles to hold a boarder-cross event. Also like the idea of a downwinder.......MMMmmmmm too many choices and I don't want to jinx the wind thing again

Double Island Point - between Fraser Island and Noosa

Due too lack of wind in this frustrating sport,we have to postpone the day.

We will have a back up day,but in the new year tho. Hope everyone gets out over this weekend.
