sorry for the late reply on this one but John, Luke and I were away (separately of course, that's why we have holidays he he he just kidding).
The event is ON, Saturday the 3rd of Janurary (tomorrow!).
It's forecast to be windy so we want to run the kites as early as possible, trying to get registrations finished by 11am. It's 15$ entry and you must be a member of WAKSA or AKSA. We'll compete once it's windy enough.
The windsurfers will compete after us.
It's a casual event (as Woodies was last time). It will probably be at the main cott dutch inn carpark.

Great event, lots of HOT kiting, with kite loops, big board offs dime a dozen. Dan, Andy, a super smooth German and Ryland ruled the day. With another 3 or 4 not far off. I'm sure the SOS boyz will give all details.
As a kiter who was way down the pack myself, I reckon you should all give the contests a go, super fun, see lots of Hot kiting real close up and push your own stuff. I run out moves and tricks after the first 5 minutes but who cares. We should do them every month in Perth where every one can have a go.
