I am moving to Perth in a month's time and besides bulk kiteboarding on the water I would like to try towing myself across a salt pan on my mountainboard. Where are the nearest saltpans to Perth and is anyone else doing it? Any other advice?

Safety bay in the metro Just on the southern end of the freeway they do land sailing there so it is a recognised area (no grief) you also half a gooding kiting comunity not to much further down the road as well.

If you are feeling like a monstorous drive there is a salt lake in kambalda (650km) which is f...n huge as it goes to horizon, I know some guys who did it on blo karts 15 min down wind run (one way), also down the south coast for you sailing runs down there, there is also some large salt lakes.
