I am travelling to Apia in Samoa in early June'18. Are there any places nearby to hire kitesurfing equipement and/or get lessons?

The surfing is sooo good there, I wouldn't bother kiting in tropical mushy wind.
Check out coconuts beach resort, there are huge long reefs to surf there - just watch the tides, we thought we were going to die paddling back in and we were very fit back then. (2.5 hour paddle at full pace)
