You broke your bones skimming on the beach, not kitesurfing. You even got it all caught on video. So lets see your infamous video showing how you smashed up your leg doing your stuff in 0.5in of water! I wanna see how much fun it was for you.

C'mon Alex. Post that!

Why are you so SCARED to show us your video? Your lies are so boring. We wanna see the TRUTH about your SAND KITING injury. Dont be such a coward. Show everyone how you smashed up your leg skimming ON THE BEACH. We want to learn from your mistake. We wont laugh, honest. We'll respect you for your honesty.

So come on Alex. Let us all see how you almost became permanently crippled from SAND KITING.

What is going on here? Who is "We?" Who are you speaking for??

You are starting to come across as kind of crazy.

Why are you taking the acts of others that have no effect on you so personally and insulting people by calling them names?

evidence of their organised mayhem too!! FAQ 4. If a 2 a.m. night buggy ride is your thing, please remember that some folks are sleeping in the camp area and may not share your enthusiasm for loud activity in the middle of the night. Common sense here... howl at the moon after you're a quarter mile out on the playa!

This sort of thing must be stopped .More flying of power kites on land and at night too .If someone is hurt the whole world of kiting will come crashing down .While we're at it those ozone guys in the snow must stop what they are doing 2 min hang times are not on.
and those water guys trying to go faster than 50 kts .don't you realise that hitting the water at that speed is like hitting concrete

Kind of crazy ? I was facetiously mimicking Alex in his previous post to me. Evidently a little too well

I tried sand boarding with a kite about 4 years ago and it was a lot of fun for about 10 minutes. I used a proper sand board but the problem was after 10 meters the wax would come off and the board would stick to the sand, you can get some good short footage as the add shows but that's it. all down wind. Sand kitting is not much fun at all. maby I was doing it wrong. Snow kiting is more fun.

Any how I am going to try horse kitting next, that sounds awesome.

Sangroper said" Ok, so thankx to everywun for making me famous (again) for 15 minutes."

What a give away! As are some of the equally gormless comments posted here in an attempt at showing off the posters wit. Look at this one:

"Yeah steak and kite sandboarding go hand in hand. I wonder what type of extreme manouvre would go with the new nandos double chicken breast dealy? Prob a mega loop strapped onto an emu racing thru a cactus patch I reckon!"

Can you imagine discussing this topic in a pub and someone comes up with comments like this! I can see the jaws dropping in incredulity that someone has actually said any of the above. And the F**K off idiot! comments that would follow shortly afterward.

This was a thread that was posted to discuss an ad that was made by a professional film company involving kiting on sand. It has been successfully hijacked by one of the many socially isolated idiots seeking attention by limpeting onto a thread from behind the safety of the computer.

No Sandgroper, you are not famous at all. I will refrain from telling you what I think exactly because arguing with an idiot makes two idiots.

Good on you Alex, Goshen and Lachlan. Your comments are all spot on!

Well said Japie! Seems to be a knob or two entered into this topic! The picture is real. The angles and the hight of the chopper make the launch seem alot higher than it is. And i did not land it.

Its a shame such a potentially great lambasting has been completely ruined by your having attributed the remarks of another to myself, before promptly condemning me for that of which I am not the author. Chris_M is the one to whom your "F**K off idiot!" comment should be directed.

And I bet I could get you to argue with me.....ahh.... except.... I detect the sound of the Easter Bunny bringing chocolatey things. So sorry, you'll have to be an idiot by yourself, cant stay and quibble....Gotta go now.

no .They are extrememly resilient .I wouldn't suggest you use a $1000 board tho (But it might give it a nice base job) a 100 dunger from snow info buy and sell will do nicely

Hey Lach,

How good is that video?

Those guys are friggen awesome, and totally certifiable!

It makes me want to dust off the mountainboard and go freestyling, then I remember how hard landboard freestyling is compared to water freestyling and how much it hurts when you f%ck up, and then I think otherwise.

Anyone who thinks that landboarding freestyle is easy needs to try it first. Landing even simple small jumps is waaaaayyyyy harder than water kiting. If your weight is too far for or aft you eat dirt, if your board is a few degrees out of alignment with the direction of travel on landing, you eat dirt, if your balance is even slightly out, you eat dirt, if you hit a hole or deep grass and your not ready for it, you eat dirt. Much respect to the guys in that vid, they're both talented and crazy!

Definately need to fix the punctured tyre on the MBS and get onto it though, tis the season for landboarding again, oh yeah baby lets go! Think I'll stick with the foils though.

Good winds,
