I noticed people walking over the dunes and not using the paths so they could keep their kites inflated until they reach the grassy area at Brighton Beach. The worst bit is that it was regular Brighton kite surfers doing it??? Probably not a very intelligent idea as I reckon the council probably puts alot of work into maintaining those dunes and their plant life.
Would be dissapointing if they banned kite surfing along that strip of beach!

I live locally and this jumping of fences & hacking through the fragile dunes by kiters has been one of my pet peeves. Besides presenting a threat to access eventually it's also pretty irresponsible from the erosion/environmental perspective.

Carn Brighton Beach kiters, please stop doing it.

Cheers for your support Bo. Had one of those horrible moments where I thought of doing it myself, but then realised it was pure laziness. You don't see ANY other beach users using the sand dunes instead of the paths. One of the culprits featured in FA2. Nice example???
