I started a just under a year ago too but haven't made the switch to surf boards, how long after learning on a TT did you jump on one? And did you manage to kite throughout the winter?
thanks! i started on my old surfboards I went and bought the foot strap inserts and made them myself. after snapping too many surfboards I bought a strappless epoxy board and never looked back. yeah i tried to get out almost everyday in winter. Copped a few beatings and kited way too many times i shouldnt have but its all part of it
