Haha nice effort, I think to answer your question it depends which state your in. The WA graphs are generally pretty good but I been looking at the SA graphs while I am currently in Adelaide and they are horribly wrong, too light wrong direction every day, its like the computer program that makes those graphs doesn't even realise our seabreezes are SW and not SE. I'm not blaming laurie because he can't tweak every forecast to make sure the program hasn't screwed up, just I'm sure more effort is put into the Perth forecast and since is more accurate. Mind you BOM do stab in the dark quite often.

AHh forecsts, you could talk all day about them.

They'd have better luck predicting the lotto numbers....
The other day in Newcastle, the bom had a forcast of N NE for coastal waters but it was blowing a rugged gale southerly!!

Even the updated info was way out!

buoyweather is usually the most accurate, for up here anyway, followed by bom then windguru.
but i always believe the most optimistic forecast

bom predict higher than its likely to be to cover their arse legally
"i went out to the fads and didnt take notice of the big black clouds coming over the horizon because bom forecast 15 to 20 knots and it was 25 to 35 gusts. now i dont have a boat." try arguing against that in today's legal system

That is a big problem these days
It is becoming second nature to blame someone when things don't work out.
Why on earth would anyone want to get a laywer involved with the weather.
