Sorry i'm new to the area but i was wondering in the bay side areas eg mentone to frankstone is there any laws on setting up or do we just use common sence.
I've just moved to Aspendale from over seas and i keen to get back in the water just dont wont to break any laws have seen some people out but havent had a chance to speak with them.

Gday mate, you can pretty much kite at most places down that way....just keep out of the flagged areas and you will be fine.
If you are looking for others to kite with head down to the end of Gnotuk ave in Aspendale very friendly bunch just take down a few beers and introduce yourself.
