Just a little reminder that its pretty hairy out on the water today, I hope you have a really small kite because its NUKIN. gusts up to 49knts have been recorded, and before you ask NO a 10mtr is not suitable for these conditions, I recommend a hankkerchief today. The swell is also massave at all beaches along the coast.

Kite safe guys n girls.

Check the BOM site for more info

Man! I take my hat off to anybody with the balls to go out on a day like today in any watersport that deals with the ocean.
Guess that's the type of dedication that Milo boys like me just don't have
Then again this is why it's called an extreme sport I suppose.
"Respect from me" for sure.

I must be brutaly honest

I looked at the ocean and said "Bugga that!!"

Went out on the mandurah estuary and it was still blowing a gusty 30kn.

My respect to the guys and galls who flagged it. Using common sense to know what their limits are and stand by them.

The ocean takes no prisoners and dosen't forgive.

This is so right
I think we have to launch an education program under this slogan.

A quick session went down at Scarbs from about 4.30, it was a good excuse to get out the small kites.

RESPECT to Dale who hit it strapless and still got a few bombs, and to Ry for sticking his head under the lip of a heaving slab.

How big was the swell, it must have been head and a half at least judging by the swell maps.
