Take boots.
Sea Snakes, Stone Fish, Sharks, Rabid Turtles, sharks, killer dugongs, snakes, did i mention sharks..... The place is alive with nature...its wild....flat water everywhere, shallow and windy as all hell all day from Sept for nine months well worth a trip....but take boots.

As an ex Shark Bay resident I can highly recommend booties. Over 3 years I lost a fair bit of claret to those nasty little buggers called razor shells. Try not to go face first when you lose it in the shallows or your chin might end up where your nose is.
Good luck the place rocks.

Guys!

Thanks a lot. My boots are 3MM Thick........isn't that HOT? and i gonna bring my 3/2 short arm streamer. Is it handy to bring my 5/3 streamer too? i gonna surf in perth (Scaborough, Woodmans Point, Ocean Reef) too. Last winter my 3/2 was fine but that was cuz the temp was around 20 all the time.

Thanks, Rens
