If I was to purchase some gear from Queensland...

How abouts would I go about getting it shipped? And how would I pay for it?

What are the ways that people normally do this?

Any advice?

I was just going to post a link to that page and ask if anyone uses it?

I'm assuming a kite/bar/lines/harness weighs less than 20kg.

i should have mentioned - buying second hand gear privately...

Which then also brings up the question of how people normally pay for gear when being purchased like that?

like most online transactions...

buyer pays seller, seller ships goods... usually buyer pays postage. direct deposit to bank accounts is usually preferred, or paypal works quite well.

cod is ok but most people don't like using it

Why not?
Is that due to the fact that for COD I need to be present to recieve the kite? Rather than getting a parcel dropped off/available for pickup.

What do Aussi post deliver the goods to you and then you pay them and then the seller gets the cash back from Aussi post?

well thats what cod is.

Its **** because australia post often forget your payment and it can take months to find out where its gone. The buyer can also say they dont want it meaning the sender gets ****ed in the ass royaly, having to pay for postage and having wasted their time.
