What a fantastic session in the waves today. Definitely worth the trip. All the boys ripped it up in a sensational campaign

Goose Im glad you enjoyed it, pity the waves were not bigger but the wind delivered 35 knots and we were kiting on nine mtr kites at 11.00am.

Big Al was boosting some of the biggest jumps I have seen do on his new rebels, da Lo was tearing the waves apart on his new cult, River was doing some nice bottom hand turns and slashing the face of the wave apart, and I was looking out for that big shark I saw.Morgan you need a small kite and Insect gets the award for dropping his kite the most amount of times.Matty what can I say your a surfer and you were riding down the line of those waves and tearing them apart on the new rebel.

Great to see some of the KKK there as well, Rick doing the downwinder with a busted up rib and Felix I told you so to use the seven but you got some big airs on the eleven.And of course to Paul for doing the whole downwinder on a surfboard in nuking conditions.But there was one piece of the puzzel missing and that was Kev , we were thinking of you mate and Im sure you will be there next time.

Great to see 10 kites doing the downwinder

Buz the KKK is the Kurnell Crew, these guys were one of the first kiters to kite in the Bay.
No lessons and trying to learn on two line kites with huge directional boards and no instructional video's or lessons.

I have heard some of the funniest stories on the early days of kiteboarding in the KKK.

So lets just say they are the legends of the Bay.Some of them are nearly twice my age and would put most kiters to shame including me.

What a great day lads.... really enjoyed it.

River, thanks for retrieving my board when my harness blew out.... judging by how sore I am today, I doubt if I would have made the swim back out to get it

How can I get an invite to this Downwinder next time it happens?

Where did it start, and where did it finish?

Thanks to the great bunch of blokes that went. Wind was perfect for 9 but I could have been on a 7 at the end. Shame Morg's and Felix had to much fabric up, full credit that you could hang on. Same too for Rick with damaged ribs and Justin with a his duff back (who did most of the trip at 25 ft cos the air's softer up there I guess).

I'm still knackered this morning and my back leg exploded from a hundred cut backs (that's what you get from trying to copy the Rivvvvvver and Dan's awsome turns). Huge jumps off those ramps - The Rebs can jump. And the Cult boys were going off.

Cheers to Felix for driving.

A special thanks to Dan for scaring the ****e out of me with another BIG noah sighting....err can I borrow your shark shield mate?

Easy to find, leave just from south of the caravan park (500m-1k) next to shops, carpark on side of road
Leave the other car at surf club about 10ks down the road so you can get back
Don't leave your keys in the car like my good mate danza.
Great fun
More people the Better (just not dolls crew please)

The rules are as follows.
1 No kitepower kooks allowed especially Steve

3 If you kite at dolls you can't come as they caues carnage where ever they go.

4 Have a small willy, very small

9 Have no real kiting ability

Good points Goose. Additional observations..

1. The collective groan when the Kitepower van turned up;
3. They spread quicker than Horse Flu;
4. Unfortunately true;
9. Evident as the afternoon developed;

Also you need to be able to fit in with 10 other people in to the back of the Rivvvvermobile.

Oh and lads someone's got Felix's shorts....please return if you find them. I had to sit next to him on the way home, not pretty but point 4 does not apply in his case.

Big thanks to Danza and all the top fellas for having me along. Great session but for my poor size selection at the beginning.

Points to note:

1. How Alan managed to get my shorts off in the first place. (Side note: He didn't have his contacts in when doing the Point 4 Assessment.)

2. Agreed some of the KKK are twice your age but the KKK Elders are more like 3 times.

3. Dan's Tiger shark was a big sucker.... I was hoping it was a shadow but as I got closer, sadly not the case. Big balls award to Insect for dropping his kite and loosing his board 5 minutes after the sighting in exactly the same spot. Must have seemed like forever.

Cheers Fellas,

Felix

PS: If any one ended up with an extra pair of boardies, please PM me.

this is hilarious, the first thing you are right about how many gooses are there?
edited posts, deleted posts, it is quite obvious the objective was reached
and as for paranoia, sorry to say that not everyone is McCormick, CJP, not failing to include Barry Boosta, you are way off, again hilarious
as for mr spitz changing the password, just a admission of defeat

small world we live in, time to grow up boys and learn to get along, as one wise goose once said, backstabbing your "so called" mates is the lowest of low

have fun at mambo all, i will have gerroa all to myself
always good to visit the east coast, just so glad i don't have to put up with your childish games anymore, however always up for a little winding up... just like fishing
