did you get it after surgery? normally after a shoulder surgery you get physiotherapy after 1 week, normally you can do light pendulum movements with your arm with increasing amplitude so it increases your range of movement. just try to move it until you feel the pain, don't force it!

My wife had it. Its calcium paste buildup in the tube the tendon runs through. She had to have this paste sucked out with a needle after physio failed.

not really, it is a stiffening of the capsule of the shoulder. the recessus axillaris which stretches when you lift the arm is shortend when the shoulder is immobilized for a while. with pain meds and movement it gets better
