Why is that funny? The only way to learn something new is to make mistakes and try it over and over again til you got it..
As for the video it's nothing special. Anyone can go out in 25+ gusty conditions and get huge air and crash their kite, you just might not survive... I mean all you have to do is pull on the bar. Would've been impressed if I landed it once or twice but points for the effort!
Its funny cause; If you pull it you get respect, If you don't you get laughed at. Thats the price you pay for going for stuff before you have a chance at all of pulling it!

Its been going on since caveman with club in hand goes flying out of his cave to donk lion on head for dinner, trips over and all his friends wet themselves as lion eats caveman.
