I just got a 9 metre Slingshot Link 07 which I tried yesterday for the first time.

No complaints, except that the depower rope seems to get stuck in the holder. It is fine once I first launch the kite and for a while whilst riding. But if I am riding for longer than about 10 minutes without trimming, and then try to power up/depower, the rope won’t budge at all. I had three of us yanking it on the beach to no avail. Had to land the kite before the rope came unstuck.

I have used a similar depower system on my Liquid Force Havoc, but it doesn’t have this problem

Anyway had the same problem, and come up with a solution. Wax, Vaso??
