Anyone have a dedicated kite skimboard? Or a skimboard they have found that works well for kiting? Where can you get a decent one from? Looking at getting into some skim action! Ive seen a few pics of the new Nobile Skim and it looks really nice. Do any places in Perth Demo them? Cheers.

Slingshot Scud is great little skim board if you can find one. The Victoria skim boards work really well too. You can pick up the Victoria ones online in Aus without to many dramas.

But they are really easy to make!!!!!

Victoria , Exile, Zap. The kite ones I have ridden are crap in comparison. Also make sure you ask for one without a stringer :-p

I've got a cabrinha wakeskate and an old Nemo skimboard - I find the Nemo skimboard a lot more fun.

I have had a nobile skim for around 7 years and its still going strong it definitely not just for flat water and light wind, it actually edges hard, handles nasty chop and is fun in small surf. Build construction isn't the same as the new ones so can't come to on that.

I have the Nobile Skim. Love it. Then went to upgrade and bought the thinner CrazyFly. However I much prefer the Nobile and still only ride it. I will sell the CF if you want (after that sales pitch :P)
