What is the cause of delamination? Did it start with water ingress?

If the core is not damaged, it is fixable... but given the cost of re doing a sandwich laminate on these boards, you may as well buy a good used one to replace it.

Do you have any pics?

Have you tried contacting Slingshot about it?
How did it start, a ding that sucked in water? Left in the sun?
I have owned several Slingy surfboards and never had a problem.
Did you buy it new? Where from?
Some photos would be interesting.

I wonder if it caused by getting hot, pre session as you pump up then the cold water hits it?

Punctuation would make it easier to read....Cab Tronic is a twin tip... Delam on a twin tip is typically coming from a manufacturing defect. On a surfboard it can come from a dry laminate but could also be triggered by water ingress, long hard sun exposure, pressure dents (which can stretch the laminate and make it pop from the blank.

Photos would be great.
