hey at least you could get some yummy coconuts while ur up there, a bit of mango liquer and some possers and uve got a nice cocktail

Wow those new bow kites do have quite a lot of accessories don't htey? What is all that green wing stuff on the underside?

Now thats why they put a warning on the kite to not fly under the influence. Had a mate this happened to a couple of weeks ago some 20m up. He couldnt pull it down with his lines nor could he climb the tree so he hooked a car to it to try and pull it out...bloody spastic... he ended up snapping his lines and tearing his kite more whilst it stayed up there in the tree.

Hahaha, all u can do at times like that is laugh.

why dont you just hook up a couple of prussik knots on ur lines and climb up it?

Took about 2-3 hours to get down, and involved climbling all the way up the tree detaching all but one line and pulling it down. Then when we detached the lines from the kite the wind strength blew them at such and angle we couldn't reach them. Eventually get it all back on the ground in one peice and only one small tear in the kite. Glad it wasn't me haha.

Yes, we did have a big feed of coconuts. Ironically, there was already a ladder up the tree from where we earlier had taken them. Karma has got me for taking the piss though, I've unpacked my kite and found a coral cut in my leading edge, with a gizzardy bit of bladder hanging out.
That pine tree shot is a winner. Man, you would have had to shoot the thing to get it down from there.
