Hi all,
Heading down to Smiths Beach WA next week for a few days and just wandering if you can kite at Smiths or will I have to travel and go somewhere else nearby,

Cheers

For SW I'd so no - the headland gets in the way and it's way too gusty. I would salivate over a W or NW in waves there tho...

There are a few places further south including Margs main break (relatively flat inside if you don't do waves). Also Dunsborough Beach (is that what it's called?) can work anything from ESE to N but choppy. I've also seen a dude kiting behind spit at Quindalup to get flat water on E.
