if any crew are interested some local photos from Sat session, heaps of different crew, equipment, some new photos of the Helix, 08 Rebel, amoungst other things. The Doc's custom yellow plywood shed board. (look out major brands the Doc's own range is dynamite )
Photos from the local jetty give a good perspective too.

Oh yeah and the Doc did loose his white Airush board, has his name and number on it, wind dropped and he was stuck - he only has 12 other boards.

Daz,

How are you enjoying your 08 Rebels? I've just ordered a 12 & 9 combo. Any tips?

Hey Harks,

So lovin the new Rebels, really nice, you will be stoked, guaranteed

Only tips is how you like to ride, if you want a bit more of a grunty C feel just try one knot shorter on the steering lines, as the bar pressure is lighter you feel a bit like there is that residual C feel to it pulling you along, until you let the bar right out ofcourse, If you want SLE feel keep factory and forward steering pigtails.

I rode the 12m on the weekend rear steering pigtails (C) feel and kite turned super quick.

the 9m you will likely find that forward pigtails are fine, I have the 10m set like this and rode it with the shorter bar setting (turn the leader lines from the outside of bar ends to inside) worked great, very short movements for net result, but bar pressure still okay, more pressure than C setting but less travel.

The 9m will be super nice, havent rode it yet.
