Just bought an awesome new wave riding DVD from Kitepower. It's called Soul Fly and features Aaron Hadlow, female wave ripper Ammy Naff, pro surfer turned kiter Josh Mulcoy, film maker Peter Trow and others on a wave rich journey to the enchanted waters of the Caribbean, deep into dusty Baja and along California’s diverse coastline.
The wave riding is awesome. Peter Trow and Josh Mulcoy show us how it's supposed to be done. The waves arent as gnarly as in Space Monkeys 2 but these guys are really "SURFING" the waves, with huge cutbacks and nice smooth turns.
There's a short chapter from the PKRA with some nasty kiteloop wipeouts and good old suicide drags.
The start of the movie has an Endless Summer feel to it because of the relaxing music but towards the end the punk stuff kicks in and gets you all amped up for your next session.
Running time is approximately 40mins and another 15mins in the bonus section.

AWSOME FLICK for sure... gota get me a copy ! sorta like a "endless summer" feel to it i thought... Felt like taking a holiday after watching it... Pete Trow is the original master of wave riding in my mind, the only thing that was missing was Elliot an Lou...
