hey guys,
it has been 8 weeks since i have been on the water! I have been waiting for a decent SE but it just hasn't happened for me. I am now well past the desperate point! Can anyone out there help me with a good sw location. i was thinking cudgin but i only think it works in a ssw. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you have access to a boat, then goto the Pin on the northen end of South Straddie.
I had a good day there a few weeks back with only one other kiter in the lagoon.
Its was that cold my fingers stopped working...so wear a few wetsuits.

Im (a nooB) down near cudgen.. SSW is side shore from Casurina to Fingal. I wouldn't go out in SW for safety. Everything SSW ive checked down here lately has been dodgy enough with out it being slightly off shore as well. Wind strength has changed reasonably drastically reasonably quickly. eg 12knots for 10 min the 21knots for next 5min both with gaps and real strong gusts. That said im sure it'll be better some times soon. I've often got no one to kite with down here in these cond. so am always super cautious. let me know if you are heading down this way so i can tag along.
