there's lots of places that will cover most wind directions, from SE to W... basically anything northerly is out... but the seabreeze is usually quite reliable, so are the ~SW weather patterns.

From W'bool to Port Fairy there is LOTS of open beach, several pools, points and bay formations.

There is a good crew of locals and regular blow-ins can be found looking for a launch too.

I'll be blowing-in about Sunday, for a week and a half, might catch'ya there.

OH yeah... pack a big kite/board if ya got one; can be a bit light some days
