What I thought was a slow leak turned into a fast one and i was in for a long self rescue at St k Saturday afternoon. Was in no distress (apart from being pissed of with the kite) but two kiters stopped to ask if i was go. Cheers guys good to see people looking out for each other.
To the guy who grabbed my board and took it to shore sat 23rd at St kilda you are a legend. Hard enough winding lines up trying to hang onto a board. I have helped a few people out in my time and it is good to see karma coming back.
PM me as I like to make sure this deed does not go unrewarded.
when in a situation of having to perform a self rescue or swimming your kite in, take your leash and conect to the grab handle or footstrap. Now u don't have to worry about it, it will just drift behind you.
