To all the new kiters out there please stay out of the flags and if you have to go through them be along way offshore and away from swimmers. relationships between us and clubbies is pretty sketchy at many beaches just stay away from them they have the power to ban kiting

whats with the idiots setting up UPWIND of the flags at port beach?

no surfcraft allowed south of the footbridge anyway! but leaving kites rigged UPWIND of the flags ready to pickup a few beach goers when they get loose is just ignorance and stupidity.

I've had a couple of woprds to crew at Port over the past few weeks.

They always seem to be newbies or pommy touros.

They should put up some signs or something.

banging your head against the wall it would seem!

the signs are there and clearly state NO SURF CRAFT between 1 Oct and 31 March. For those that can't read english there's also a little picture with a big red slash through it!!!

every time i drive past i see at least 2 or 3 kites sometimes directly infront of the club house
