Hi Guys,

Havent posted for a while, hope all is well, and everyone is happy now the wind is back for another season.

I am sick of destroying my old surfboards, so I have gone and spent a million bucks (well 60 but bloody expensive imo) on some stick on straps.

Do they stay stuck on???

I rip out 8mm screws from fibreglass doing some of my inverted moves with a surfboard, so I am reluctant to see how sticky tape can hold on!

If I stick them to my epoxy board do u think I should sand the paint off first then use presol or thinners to clean wax, followed by metho?

Any advice and previous "if onlys" of ur misfortunes are appreciated.

i used to ride with predator straps, they are stick on and i never had a problem with lifting.
make sure you get all the wax off your deck first, (and make sure that thinners won't attack epoxy) and make damn sure you get the straps in the right place before you glue. you won't ever have the otion of unscrewing and riding strapless.

good to hear you are back on the water. how's the leg? any good scar photos?
