Hi all,
One of our customer got his brand new (sealed) 8m Airush Session V1 Yellow stolen in the Bundaberg region QLD.
If you see an ad come up for a cheap brand new factory sealed 8m Airush Session V1 Yellow, please get in touch.
We have the serial number to match.
Thanks

**** i hate bundy bro
One of few places in australia so dodgey they rolled out the welfare card so ya cant spend ya welfare on piss and ciggys
Dont expect it to be sold as a KITE or sporting good i have had kiteboards stolen before and they pop up as everything from snowboard to wakeboard
Wouldnt be surprised if some gronks useing it as a car cover
Just to add to it. I had a kiteboard stollen and filled out police report with pic of serial number and repair i had done as i like to keep records. 2 weeks latter was online for sale and guy sends me pic of same serial number and repair. contacted Police with guys address and work place and was told they didnt have time to chase that sort of thing up,just claim insurance. AGGGHHH!!!!

Had a silimar situation (see www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/General/Online-fraud), and you're right, the police does not care very much. After a lot of pressure they ended up recovering the stolen kite that I reported. Because the serial number and description matched, they sent it back to me (no charge). Wasn't easy but was worth the effort in my case.
Unfortunately ,the police have no proof the online seller of stolen kite actually stole it . He could say he bought it off someone else ,or found it . Even though in NSW police can charge people with suspect stolen goods with a Goods in Custody charge ,even though this is a slim chance for a stolen kite.
I remember a Pakistani guy telling me why "Innocent until proven guilty" is floored. He told me it's too lenient and gives a soft comfortable position to those who are clearly guilty.
These guys should have to explain where and how they came across the stolen goods. Not the other way around.
Update. Long story short
The Kite was left on my front door step in an unsafe location without getting a signature from me by Austpost.
Austpost admitted fault.
I had to go away urgently at the time expecting my kite to be at Post Office, but my kite sat on my doorstep for 7-10 days.
My Kite was 'stolen' by my next-door Neighbour( don't know the guy) who returned the kite to me after he returned from holiday.
Big Thanks must go to Christian at Kitebud who honestly went way above and beyond in his Legendary service in regards to this kite. Can not recommend him highly enough, truly.
Cheers hoping it cranks for all
Dont sell to bundaberg anymore
Lesson learnt i hope
But this is Airush country here boy
Not bad ! .. so it sat on a doorstep for 8-10 days and didn't even get stolen !
couldn't see that happening in London or elsewhere
Bund must be a brilliant place

The 14 year old home invaders repeat offenders don"t kite, they just break into houses ,steal car keys and joyride cars , its a Bundy disease like every big town in Qld
