After having read on here about stolen kites / boards etc etc, how about a register of stolen gear on Seabreeze? Peeps take pictures of their gear, with a description of condition / repairs / identifying markings and then post them up if stolen, stating when and where.

That way anyone buying gear second hand can take a look at the site to see if the gear they are buying matches any of the descriptions.

It means people have to ID their gear in some way but it might help catch a few of the parasites that steal out of cars etc.
