Pretty sure this guy is advertising stolen gear. He obviously doesn't know what it is.

So if you are missing a Black and Yellow Cabrinha board and 12m Wainman kite, then check out this ad.

Had my Airush Hammer stollen buy guy in perth who advertised the board on seabreeze for sale.
Had full police report and serial numbers of same board.
Had the guys address, phone number and new were the board was during the sale.
Police told me they didnt have time to be chasing small matter like that.
police wonder why people often dont think too highly of them
Anyway board was insured through my house insurance and was covered while in back of my car were it was stollen.
The low lifes know how slack the police are which is the problem when decent people save for there gear and have it taken.
Insurance is the go i think.

Sometimes you get deals that are really good. Got my daughter two 2015 Naish Parks in very good condition with one bar for $950 from a French guy who was leaving WA (in June this year). I checked with the Moderator that the member is legit before I bought them.

However, it is very disappointing that Police considers stolen and proven stolen gear as 'small change' - gotta break in and steal, how could this be not significant is beyond me. Surely a stepping stone for more serious sh!t

We need a royal commission into this.

Do agree tho, seems if you let the little crimes slide its just validation of that lifestyle

By not responding to the problem in the first place Police set a bad example and allow these kind of crimes to go unpunished, meanwhile our insurances go up. Try making a claim when it happens the 2 or 3rd time if you are unlucky. These punks keep doing it because there is no consequence unless you take matters into your own hands....which is always not the best way to resolve this problem.

I can understand there are no resources to investigate little crimes, but when it is practically solved and served on a plate?

most cops support a vigilante approach, but wont personally back it, you need to be 100% before giving someone a slap though

I remember an old story about a guy phoning the cops and saying "there are some people breaking into my garage, send someone around", the cops replied saying "we don't have a vehicle available".

5 minutes later he phoned again saying "can you please send an ambulance, I went in with a baseball bat and I think I killed him"

The cops arrived with the ambo and caught the thieves in the act. When the cops said "I thought you said you killed him", he responded "I thought you said there weren't any vehicles available"

Its an urban legend but I would love to try it
