After discussing the topic of strapped riding with lots of guys who ride both strapless and unstrapped it seems that most of us are embracing the strapless style and we can't get over the fact that strapped guys just have no skill at riding waves and at positioning themselves on the board -

In fact I love the fact that my strappless board actually rides waves - it makes the whole waveriding thing feel so much more positive - adding to the art of waveriding - If you have any pictures of ass bogging through a wave with straps on, share them here!

But, what an amazingly irrelevant photo, the guy is riding a zero depower, zero safety system Mosquito foil, or possibly something from pre 2000 Peter Lynn, maybe even a Flexi Nexus, and a super stiff plank of a board and for that I reckon he is doing ok!! LOL's

That pic is minimum 10 years old I reckon. Back in the dark ages safety was not exactly what it is today. How we (mostly) survived I will never know...
