"Stupefied from ingestion of or withdrawal from something habit-forming"

You lot going through withdrawal symptoms? Starting to get the shakes from lack of wind? That's about all I can think of that would explain the bad vibes around here the last while.....where's the love gone? Surely someones got some blow? You guys in NQ? I gotta get some!
It's about fun yeah?
I'm down to about 2 sessions per week, but the forecast is looking grim....

Hi, my names tobes and I'm addicted to kitesurfing, it's been 2 days since my last kite....

Hi, im the Medic. It's been 5 hrs since my last kite. Im addicted to pain hence why i've been practising my F-16's in these 22knt winds. And ankle deep water whilst dodging supposed crocs. Come up and join in the fun.

Well I scored today! Got a sweet hit of 15-20 knots, SE, man it was some good blow. Saw a very large fast unidentified fish (dolphin, shark, tuna?) just below the surface, ran right over a huge black stingray in the shallows, twice, the second time I thought I was wrong and it was weed, but nope, big ray (Irwin).
Nothing but red arrows on the horizon though....I'll be strung out in a couple of days...
FNQ is looking like a good option, hoping to get up to Lizard Island for a couple of weeks in Aug/Sep.
Crocs can't be much worse than great white sharks?

Ha ha! But you like walking!
My bus was out of action, so I just hit the local southerly spot, name like an African country, took the bike. Not as much swell as at Easter, that was a good session, lets do it again!

Head to NQ fellas, we are into our 10th straight day of strong wind warning and 20-30knot SE trade winds and still got a few more days to go. Just ordered an 8m as I've been too maxxed out on the 12m! The season is only just beginning too.

Tobes hope to catch you at Lizard late August.

got my new board today Tobes and strapped it up so I should fit the right criteria next time we meet and am getting another board next week. I hope to get down there through the winter to nail some of those southerly spots.

If there was going to be even 8 knots somewhere today, I was armed with the light wind goods...but no way.............first day since I can remember that you could not kite in Perth....painful.

That's rough fly guy, 10 weeks cold turkey! You might be cured of your kite addiction, or do you think you might relapse?

Hey strapped, why don't you post a picture of your new stick and predator straps? Come on down, but I just bought a 7m, so you can be sure it wont be over 20 knots for at least a few weeks.

Hopefully I'll score today, Laurie promised me some "green", it's been 2 days again,,,,strung out....

Okay. Now i'm strung out.
Dislocated my shoulder for the first time 2 days ago doing raileys, of all things. Not happy. Now im doomed to 2 weeks of physio, painkillers and filming all my mates having the fun. Pity they dont make kiteboarding patches to help with the addiction.

Medic, I know the feeling. I am nursing a couple of broken ribs, (after an unscheduled kite loop while jumping) and have had to endure watching the trade winds blow day after day.
No doubt the wind will drop as soon as the ribs have healed.
