yea ill be up for tomorrow simon. I was thinking of ringing ya Sunseeker, with the random possibility you were back on the coast. You really need to buy a mountain board to take up there with ya.

Heya simonmm

Its been awhile, been insane with work for the last 8 months.

I get out as much as i can, which has been 2 times in 4 months since i got back from OS

I think i,m gonna chuck a sicky this week tho, just bought a new Helix Weeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Been out in tha waves heaps before last Xmass up sunny/gold coast, hopefully catchya out sometime.

Echostorm, got your message, unfortunately I was at a conference staring out the window and trying to excuse myself in between, and ducking out to check the conditions on seabreeze & surfcams....tell me it wasn't worth it !!

well... I got there, had a 10 minute run when blownaway showed up. I went to my car to get the pump as the kite was under inflated, as I was walking to my kite with my pump in my hand the freaking centre strut exploded right down the seam. I alway through slingys were invincible, thats 2 x T2's I have been through in two weeks. Starting to loose my confidence.

youve gotta have a bad batch dude, ive had 2 TD1,s for 2 years, pump the crap outa them, crashed em heaps and no probs.

either bad batch or youre just a to extreem hard core cut sick bad dude

HAHA... i think its the batch, or the new model? My old TD1 was the same, man I feel sorry for that kite. But this kite was brand new, and under inflated. Are they using the same material as the old ones?

Hey any of you freezing windless sunshine coast people want to do a house swap(1br flat actually) in yorkeys knob (cairns)? Sept 20-30 I'm coming down to caloundra and looking for a place to stay. My place is 300m from the kiting beach and has a queen sized bed and a comfortable pullout double in the lounge. Anything from a room to a mansion would be fine for me.

yep what a crazy session. Looking at the graphs Maroochy airport which is where we were hit 33knots. Thats protected from the shore a bit so we would have been getting at least 35knots. Its a bit of a worry when there is no beach, dead tuna and puffer fish blown up on the beach foam and rain that stings. I was on a cabrina switchblade 8m, however it was pretty full on cause id never flown anything like it before so the unknown factor was definatly rife.

saw one crazy bugger on a green waroo at golden beach today, horizontal rain convinced me not to bother going out though....

maybe tomorrow if it clears a bit?

Hey who was crazy enough, to be kiting at dogcock beach i mean bulcock beach today???

i saw some one on the coastal watch cams... who ever it was ur a mad man, was it any good??

i love the pass at Caloundra what a top spot!!! the banks seem to be prime for kiting ATM.

hopefully hit the goldie tomorrow scammed a half day off work. woohooo, have to spank my new Helix he he he

if i was gunna go anywhere, it'd be golden beach methinks. bribie might slow down the wind a bit and make it sane, and it's a lot safer than bulcock at the moment! run-in tide makes it good in a south-easter too. if it's not sleeting sideways and gusting above 35 knots i might head out tomorrow.... depending on how giant my testicles are

I was out on an 8.5m Ion 2 on Wednesday. It was ok but gusty.
Jumping was a bitch. Load up then nothing, or load up then boooom.

Echostorm, now hat the weekends on give me a call for tomorow morning as I reond we'd probably have at least 10-15 of us for tomorow. If that winds going to do what I hope it will I'll be out on a 9mtr with 20 mtr lines to try some research and development...
