I am travelling to Mooloolabah in April.
Was wondering whether anyone who has kited there could tell me what the conditions are likely to be in April and of other spots north and south. I will have a car amnd can travel up the coast.

Moololabah is cool but you cant go past the river mouths of Noosa and caloundra. Make sure you pack your surfboard, lotsa books or a massive kite, because winds are pretty light and inconsistent. When its on the wave riding along most beach breaks is the best - but it is hard to come by.

Is it worth taking gear over to Noosa / Caloundra / Brisbane in July or August? Direction, strength, time of day, gusty?
