What's the best rubber surfboard grip product to use to cover the surface of a small classic shape kite surf board?

Iv been using boating deck grip. I got a 2.4m by 90cm roll for $70 off dick smith.
It's very grippy and it's about 5m thick so it has more Cush then the regular surf grips. Iv done 4 boards and still have enough for many more. You just have to cut it to size.

I've looked far and wide, and the best deck padding I've found is www.surfsailaustralia.com.au/product/surf-sail-australia-stretched-diamond-charcoal-grip-sheet-1#surf-sail-clothing-hardware. Proper 3M adhesive backing. Not cheap but works a treat.

Boat grip will not work when you have water constantly flashing over the surface, e.g. on a surf board. It will slip. I know this, because I've tried. Eventually, I had to cover the key areas with proper "grooved" grips (over the boat grip) to channel excess water.

Really, it's been working for me. It has so much grip. More then octopus or channel island grip. If you zoom in it has crocodile like patten and is very grippy

Yes, crocks can be grippy in far NQ, but down here we have only great whites...... and chops and winds which bring lots of water over the board on high speed, and that water has to channel somewhere, as I've found it out . But it's good that it works well for you over there.

Loaded up my slingshot celero. Almost twice the amount of grip hight. Should be fantastic on the heavy landings. will update on the performance (not that it's been a problem in the past).
