Just out of curiousity (unforunately I can't afford to purchase either), has anyone managed to give these two a good comparison.

I have a 12 meter Switchy 07 and a 9 meter Crossbow 07. If it wasn't for the bar pressure and the 2 to 1 pulley thingy, I would much prefer the Crossbow. I have also ridden a 12 meter Crossbow and like the extra power and the stability, but would not purchase one again due to the bar pressure and pulleys.

I heard the new ones don’t have the pulleys? Can anyone comment??

I have 13m Xbow - very powerful, not that comfortable, good for lift and verey good in light winds

I'm not convinced by IDS system though - the centre safety line thru the bar deteriorates rapidly

And self-land with IDS not so easy as you can't pull the top-centre line which you can do on other SLE/Hybrid kites
