I'll believe it when I see it, but the Bureau are calling for some west in the breeze today:
Wind:SW to 10 knots early, increasing to N/NW 20/25 knots by middayI don't think I have actually seen a decent NW worth kiting in my short time attempting to kite.
I was planning on heading to First Groin at Brighton to kite if the wind got up. If it actually is NW instead of N or NE, will Brighton still be feasible?
I can see from looking at a map that Kurnell would work better than Brighton if there was any west in it, but I have heard that I may be less than welcome there, and it is a hell of a lot further to drive.
I guess if I go to Brighton and it is NW and I get into trouble, I might find out if they are friendly at Kurnell anyway......
