Hi Bigmark100
It is one of those days when my advice would be to find something else to do.
I live right here on the bay and it has been gusting 10-20 knot gusts at times, with shifts from the NW to NNE, and a strong WtoSW change predicted later in the day.
If you be patient, you might have a better chance of having some fun later, probaly only a high depower kite like a bow would be any fun at all and rig small.
The only place you can kite in NW to W is Kurnell, but it is quite onshore over there and there is very little room on the beach or margin for error.
We have cancelled all lessons for the day.

NW winds are terrible. much worse in my opinion than SW winds. the gusts are so much quicker and shoot through very suddenly. the BOM weather station dont record lulls very well it seems as ive tried to kite when its been saying 20-30kts but get to the beach and you will find 5-30kts is more realistic.
bellambi just recorded 62kts and all my washing just went flying over the fence.
