Dangerous conditions will continue throughout today and over the next 4-5 days, winds will be gusting to more than 50 knots today (already has been!!) from the South.
Rain squalls with increases in wind throughout the coming days, with large sea swell predicted as well.
If the southerlies keep blowing we will see some of the biggest surf on the coast this year, predictions of 6M and above!

Please be careful out there, if you do decide to venture out.

The Annual Festival of the Winds is being held this weekend at Bondi, it will be possible to kite there for that one day, but only if you are very experienced, and only if you check with the lifeguards and the FOTW people first.

Know you limits this weekend, do not put up a lot of kite, there will be squalls and strong gusts all weekend.

Cya and

Goodwinds

Steve McCormack

PS - 2006 5M and 7M Switchblades on special this weekend! :-)

I've seen it done with a T-arc. It was more than 50kts though. Not the most graceful of sights. Basically left me with the impression that it is pretty much undo-able.

I just got out on Lake Macquarie with a 5m Fuel.
Good fun out doing kite loops in that wind with a small kite.
