Hey all,

Has anyone played with making the 2009 LF synergy OT bindings fit a nobile board?

Looking to try a pair on my 2010 NHP to see if it's for me before I fork out for a more suitable board.
Im still waiting for them to turn up, just wondering what I'm in for.

Cheers

I honestly don't think it will be big enough. 134 (the largest NHP) would be barely large enough for a 65kg rider. I tried them on a 131 many years ago and it felt like you were riding with your bindings on the tips of the board. Its just too short.

Most people would go for something like a 139-144 when it comes to bindings. Don't be scared of the big size, you won't feel it with the bindings and the board feels surprisingly small.

Yeah Saf I have the 134 & about 80kgs so am looking at getting a more wake oriented board very soon as a mate picks up his new boat next fri.

I know I'll never get something that suits both kiting and wake perfectly but at this stage I'd rather a kiteboard with bindings that I can have a bit of fun behind a boat with too.

Always wanted to try bindings kiting so no doubt i'll be getting that new board sooner rather than later but thought id give them a go on the NHP first.

They will definatly feel wrong on that board, i put a set on last years 134nhp and it was just to short and as you know the board was flatter and faster this years nhp with the extra rocker and slower riding speed will be even worse. The 50 fifty is designed for bindings has the corect holes etc. or there is a few good LF boards, or the ss dark side, M8 dek etc. At 80 kgs the smalest board i would recomend would be 138cm around 140 would be spot on.

Definatly give the 134 a try and let us know how you get on it should still be fun, you just wont get the full feel of riding boots and the benefits it can give you when on the right board. And if you try to ride it behind a boat i would recomend you take off the fins, i have riden the new 134 behind a boat and it has that much grip you will find it hard to switch the board without getting some air.

Thanx waxy,

I'd pretty much talked myself into a 50fifty, and will go the 140 as it should feel/ride similar to my NHP?
You just cant beat that Nobile 3yr warranty... Hence why I already have 3 of em.
