I can't thank everyone enough for the fantastic support you have been giving me since my little " hiccup ".

I've been saying this since I first got into kiting because it is so true...the kiting fraternity is one fantastic community and it makes me so proud to be part of it.

All of your phone calls and sms and posts have been of tremendous support to me in keeping my spirits up. I would be bullsh....g if I said all is fine but believe me I will be back on the water as quickly as I can.

I haven't been able to answer all the sms so I hope this open THANKYOU post gets to everyone who has contacted me.

I also want to say a huge thanks to the crew I travelled to WA with ....you blokes are tops and your support was great....definitely I am dissappointed about all the great kiting I missed out on and the downwinder ....I don't even want to think about it...Darren did a fantastic job putting it together ....seeing the faces of Kev,Al, Danny,Andy, Morgs and George at the end nearly made it as good as going myself ...but you are right Dazza...I was spewing about missing out. I know the boys will be posting more about the trip so I'll leave it to them to write the story ...there is no doubt about it ...WA is the place to kite.....and thanks to all the WA crew we met for the hospitality extended to us east coast blowins.

ps. Azza .. you are in the wrong job mate ...take up full time tour guiding..you are a natural.

Col you're a big man with an even bigger heart. Never once despite your serious injury, two operations and suffering tremendous pain did you complain about anything (other than the stock market). Even after the first operation when we picked you up from the recovery ward we found you chatting up the nurses. The Colonel (as we nicknamed him for the trip) is the goods both in and outside of Kitesurfing. Boosting 30fts and ripping it up on the outer reef at Coro with only one eye you're a legend (just make sure you're upwind of the good eye!) Get well big fella and we'll do that downwinder again (twice for you as you missed it the first time).
